In the second quarter of 2025, the social networking landscape on iOS in Denmark showcased interesting trends among the top five apps. According to data from Sensor Tower, the performance varied across different metrics, providing insights into user preferences and engagement.

Threads experienced a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 6.3K at the beginning of April and peaking at 8.3K mid-month. However, downloads tapered off to around 4.1K by the end of June. Active users decreased steadily from 191K to 149K over the quarter.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers ranging from 4.5K to 5.4K throughout the quarter. The app saw a rise in active users, ending the quarter with a notable increase to 1.43M from 1.28M at the start.

Beer Buddy - Drink with me! showed a significant increase in weekly revenue, climbing from $31 to $565. Downloads also rose sharply, peaking at 8.1K in late June. Active users saw growth, reaching 17.4K by the end of the quarter.

Telegram Messenger experienced stable weekly downloads, hovering around 2K. Revenue peaked at $7.9K in late June, while active users fluctuated slightly, ending at 168K.

Google Meet had modest download figures, mostly staying between 1.3K and 2K. Active users showed a slight decline, with numbers dropping from 8.5K to 8.8K by the quarter's end.
